Split Mold Pieces

Here it is split apart. To make the mold, I flycut some delrin to get a nice smooth finsh. I then drilled and tapped the two corner holes for the screws in one piece and the clearance holes and countersink in the other piece. I then screwed the two pieces together, and drilled and reamed the alignment holes. By drilling and reaming the two pieces together I was ensuring that they matched each other. I then finshed the outside of the cube to square things up. I then mounted the whole thing on my rotary table and used an endmill to machine out the cavity. I then drilled the center hole.
